Covering the whole of the UK and beyond
Award-winning Liverpool wedding photography that will make you smile, laugh and cry for years to come. For adventurous couples looking for something different.

“Blown away!”
Our photos are beautiful, heartwarming, and funny. We wanted a photographer who could capture all the fun and emotion of the day without all of the fuss. We hardly noticed Steven on the day and were absolutely blown away when we saw the photos. They were exactly what we had hoped for. We opened a bottle of wine and spent the evening crying and laughing whilst looking through the photos.
Fiona and Will, Liverpool

ABOUT
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings in Liverpool and the Uk for many years. I’ve met people of many backgrounds and religions and made lasting friendships with those who I’ve photographed. I feel like I’ve lived their weddings with them and it was an absolute joy each and every time. I have the same goals for you and your wedding. I want it to be beautiful, heartwarming, funny, and above all, a wonderful adventure and the start of an incredible journey. I want to get into the heart and soul of it and produce images that will take you back there, to create important and meaningful photographs that will be part of your legacy. Images that don’t just show what your wedding looked like, but will make you smile, laugh, cry, bring back feelings and give you goosebumps time and time again.

“I really wasn’t ready for how that slideshow made me feel. I was a mess! Didn’t realise photographs could do that!”

AWARDS
I’m extremely grateful to have picked up numerous awards for my photography over the years. Including being named as one of the top ten photographers in the world by Fearless Photographers in 2016. I’ve been named in the top 5 wedding photojournalists in the UK in 2019 and was ranked number 1 in the UK by MyWed and Wedding Photography Select in 2019. In 2020 I was asked to become a judge for the wedding industry awards. TWIA is widely regarded as the best wedding awards around, so it was a great honour for me to be asked to become a judge. In the past few years I’ve also had the privilege of judging many other wedding photography competitions across the globe including Masters of Wedding Photography Germany, The Fine Art Association of Brazil, This is Reportage, Wedding photography Select International Excellence Awards, Nikon and MyWed Photographer of the Year and Fearless Photographers.

Speaking as someone who started shooting on black and white film, moved to digital on a 6 megapixel camera […]

Emotive Liverpool Wedding Photography
Weddings in Liverpool have a lot of character, and so you might expect from a city with such a rich cultural heritage. From the music of the Beatles to the rivalry between football teams Everton and Tranmere Rovers, to the important history of the ports in shaping a nation. Liverpool has come a long way in recent years, with funky new independent bars, restaurants, and venues popping up everywhere, particularly in the baltic triangle area, which also hosts some great modern digital agencies and start-ups.
The Best Wedding Photographs Possible
I love to be part of weddings that are unique and different and focus on the celebration. We live in exciting times when more and more couples are making bold and brave choices in their wedding planning. Weddings can be stuffy affairs, no longer. Humanist weddings, barn weddings, and tipi weddings are paving the way, and ‘relaxed’, ‘natural’ and ‘fun’ are current buzzwords in the wedding photography world. I’ve been lucky enough to witness weddings that focused on enjoyment, family and friends, and the great outdoors. I truly believe that the best photographs come about as a result of the photographer being able to blend into the scene. So with an unobtrusive documentary approach, I’m able to spend more time on the images that will matter to you and your family in years to come. Coupled with my love for weddings and real emotion I have 16 years of experience as a professional photographer, so I’m able to deal with any challenge a wedding can throw at me and get the best results possible in any situation. Be it using additional light for low light weddings, or creating beautiful portraits when time is tight, I can handle it, and you can relax and enjoy your wedding knowing you will love your photographs.
