I recently had the pleasure of photographing Marjolein and Sebastiaan’s beautiful and intimate countryside wedding at The Gathering at Edale in the Peak District. It was such a beautiful day, and one I’ll remember for a long time.

As a photographer, I always strive to capture the emotion and essence of each wedding I photograph. Marj and Seb’s humanist wedding in the field next to Grindslow House provided the perfect backdrop for my creative vision. The rustic charm of the wedding styling blended perfectly with the wildflowers and rolling hills of the landscape, creating a picturesque setting for the couple’s special day.

Throughout the day, I was constantly on the lookout for candid moments and unique perspectives to document. From the joyful expressions of the guests during the ceremony to the playful moments on the dance floor, I aimed to capture the true essence of this wonderful day at The Gathering.

Marj and Seb’s wedding was a celebration full of love, laughter, and joy. From the gin bar to the children’s bingo, the evening was a whirlwind of fun and excitement that I was honored to capture through my lens.
