Stacey and Andrew’s Summer Wedding at Knowsley Hal

This was my first outing for some years as a Knowsley Hall Wedding Photographer. And wow! what a place! Even though I’ve been there before I was still in awe of the grandeur of the place. It’s simply stunning inside and out. It’s not surprising that Knosley Hall is consistently ranked as one of the best wedding venues in Liverpool.

Photojournalism at Knowsley Hall

Whilst I love to shoot quirky and creative portraits, I also enjoy watching, listening and waiting for moments to happen. The vast majority of what I do is in a documentary storytelling style which goes much deeper than posed photos could ever go. Most of the engaged couples who contact me really love the style of my un-posed work and the non intrusive manner in which I work my way through the wedding, capturing guests and couples when they are relaxed and having a great time. I like to get involved, talk to people and get taken along by the flow of the day.

Modern Wedding Photography

Like Stacey and Andrew, many couples looking to get married in the near future are more concerned with celebrating their relationship with their closest family and friends. So they look for a photographer who can represent them as a young couple in a modern way, whilst also capturing images of the people who are important to them. This wedding reception at Knowsley Hall was a case in point. The party was awesome and I really enjoyed getting in amongst the crowd to get the photographs I think will help this lovely pair remember their wedding for many years to come.
