Delamere Manor Wedding Photography // Pip and Bob’s Summer of Love
I was honoured and very excited to be booked for Pip and Bob’s Delamere Manor Wedding Photography. I knew from meeting them that it was going to be an incredible and unique wedding. I immediately liked the ideas they had, and in particular I loved their approach to the wedding itself which was one of celebration and partying with their closest friends and family. It was a wedding about a love found between two people which was infectious and took over Delamere Manor and everyone involved. Everything was unique and personal to Pip and Bob and everything and everyone there meant something to them. As an outsider I was completely drawn in by the atmosphere and by the end I felt like part of the family. Thanks a million Pip and Bob!
Wedding Photography at Delamere Manor
Delamere Manor is located in Cheshire, near Delamere Forest, by a lake next to a tree. I knew the place used to belong to Gary Barlow, so naturally Take That songs kept popping into my head from the minute I drove through the gates. But I was strong enough of mind to banish those sounds and concentrate on the job at hand. After all, I had made it to judges houses, now I had to give 110%. Please give me another chance Gary! I digress. This was the greatest day, beginning in the big house with the wedding itself taking place in the orangery. A million love songs later it was down the hill to the Tipi for the wedding breakfast. I had to have a little patience as it took a while for all the guests to get down there. By the time I got there I noticed that a lot of the gusts had already arrived. Could it be magic? No, they were driven down in a golf buggy.
Pip and Bob’s Summer of Love at Delamere Manor
This wedding wasn’t just about the nuptials. It was a whole weekend of celebration. The evening reception went on into the night and the party, and recovery continued the next day with a summer festival down by the tipi. The was music, games, pizza provided by the Pizza Peddlers and Ice cream provided by Pollys Parlour. The kids ‘borrowed’ a rowing boat from the lake whilst the rest partied until the sun came down. The Tipi was provided by Big Chief Tipis
Some feedback from the couple…
“Steve was simply amazing! His attention to detail, yet subtlty in his approach meant we didn’t even know he was there, which was exactly as he was briefed. An informal wedding, we wanted him to tell the story through the photographs and that he did. He captured the most amazing moments that you cannot recreate and were beyond our expectations. Both my husband and I work with photographers regularly and his unassuming yet professional nature is outstanding. the results speak for themselves!”
