I met Alice and Neil at Padley Gorge last summer to catch up about their upcoming wedding at Dewsall Court and to have a bit of fun shooting a few frames around the woods, waterfalls and rocks around Padley Gorge which is situated in the peak district just south and west of Sheffield.

Engagement shoots aren’t an essential thing of course but are a lot of fun, a good way to get some cool frames to use for your wedding stationery or wedding website. Also, it’s a great way to get to know how I work, to get used to being photographed. For me, it’s a chance to get to know you as a couple and your personality. I can work out what suits you and which of the photos you like most so that I can refine this on your wedding day.

Shooting with Alice and Neil was so much fun. They were quite nervous to start and Neil couldn’t help but replicate blue steel from the film Zoolander 🙂
