Wrenbury Hall Wedding Photographer – Steven Rooney Photography

This was my first outing as a Wrenbury Hall Wedding Photographer, and I have to say I loved every minute. Carly and Craig were great to photograph. I knew they wanted a relaxed feel about their wedding and wanted time to celebrate with friends and family. This really suited my style of photography as I had time to observe and get a really good feel for who was who and concentrate on anticipating and capturing the real moments and reactions as they happened. I also shot a few portraits with the couple later in the day (it was a bit wet and windy outside) so we came up with some alternatives.

Wedding at Wrenbury Hall

Wernbury Hall near Nantwich in Cheshire is a great venue for a wedding. There’s plenty of space in the Hall, Laurent-Perrier bar and Orangerie, not to mention acres of land providing varied backdrops for portrait photos. This particular day was very wet and very windy but there was so much space inside that it didn’t matter at all.  As a Photographer at Wrenbury Hall I was a very happy chap as there was a lot of natural light inside which bounced about off the wooden wall panels to create a beautiful warm light. I must also say that I can’t remember being so well looked after at a wedding venue. Many thanks to Pete and Neil who between them made sure the occasion ran like clockwork. They ensured I had the time and space to do what I needed with the couple, which in turn meant that they got the photos that they wanted.
