Pour me a gin, there’s another lockdown!

Amidst the chaos and bad news this year, 2020 turned out to be pretty special for many families. It was a time to reconnect, to get to know more about each other and watch children grow and learn. It was a time to notice things that we don’t always see, it was a time to listen and it was a time to be thankful for the beauty that surrounds us.

For Sally and I, 2020 had its ups and downs. But I believe, like our family, many other families will be stronger for being locked up together for eight months (sets off the nervous twitch).

It was great to see Sharrona and Jack again. I photographed their wedding a couple of years ago, and they’ve since added to their family! I’m not sure if the children or the grown ups enjoyed being out of the house more!
