A Summer Wedding at Hampton manor
This is one of the best wedding venues in the west Midlands. First used as an estate for Prime Minister Robert Peel back in 1855 this place has a lot of history. It has vast grounds and various grand rooms with stunning interior design so is the perfect place to be a Hampton Manor wedding photographer. Shooting here is just brilliant, and this was one of those weddings that had me pinching myself that I get to use a camera for a living.
The manor house itself is one of the most grand wedding venues in the entire world. Ok, I’m exaggerating a bit, but it’s pretty nice! Laura and her bridesmaids used the bridal suite at the hotel for their preparations. The groomsmen got ready, well, somewhere else, but they were at the pub in good time for a swift half and a few photos before going across to the church in Hampton-in-Arden.
A surprise brass band to lead the way to Hampton Manor
The wedding ceremony at the church went off without a hitch, apart from the actual hitch. Pardon my bad jokes. And the guests were greeted outside with a bit of a surprise! The New York Brass Band had been hiding in the bushes and played the bride and groom out of the church and down the path to the reception at Hampton Manor.
Below you’ll find a selection of my favourite images from Laura and Danny’s wedding at Hampton Manor. Whether you’re getting married in a church, a mountain top, the gardens or halls of Hampton Manor please drop me a line to discuss your wedding photography.
What Hampton Manor has to offer
If you’re just looking or in the early stages of planning your wedding at Hampton Manor you should really check out Peels Restaurant. Like the whole estate, it’s a family business and much of the food is either grown on site or locally sourced. It’s simply exquisite.
Within the grounds the venue has various buildings and a lawn which looks out to the west, providing a great view, particularly when the sun is low in the sky. Numerous tree lined pathways and roads within the countryside estate give the opportunity for beautiful and natural photography in the relative peace and quiet away from the buildings.
The orangery within the venue provides a bright modern space in which to get married or indeed have a wedding breakfast. From a photography point of view, the more windows the better! On this occasion it was beautifully dressed by Ava Event Styling.
