Marrakech Wedding Photographer
The City of Marrakech is a feast for the senses. The sights and smells of the Medina, the hustle and bustle of the souks and the noises of the street sellers and calls to prayer make for a truly magical experience. And the riads hidden behind the myriad passageways provide a little peace in the middle of the busy street. I have an urge to go back there already, so if you’re looking for a Marrakech wedding photographer please get in touch!
As well as wedding photography, I also offer one-day engagement shoots in Marrakech. Good places for a shoot include Le Jardin Marjorelle, Le Jardin Secret and El Badi Palace Please get in touch for details.
A Photoshoot in the Palaces and Gardens of Marrakech
The images below are from a trip that I took courtesy of my friend and fellow photographer Andy Keher. He helped me out on a similar, but much colder, shoot in Iceland earlier in the year. It was time I returned the favour. Thanks a lot Andy, looking forward to the next shoot!
We took a flight out of Manchester to Morocco and got a transfer to the Medina. And having been there I can certainly advise against getting a hire car. So glad we didn’t! I’ve never been to Africa before and whilst I’d done a lot of reading, nothing I read really did justice to the reality of life within the walls of Marrakech. If you’ve never been before, it’s like a cross between Aggrabar from the Alladin films, and your local supermarket on Christmas eve. From certain points in this quite flat city, you can see the peaks of the imposing Atlas mountains. In between getting lost and drinking mint tea I took some photos. Here they are…
If you like what you see here and are looking for a Marrakech Wedding Photographer, I’d love to hear from you.
