It’s fair to say that planning your wedding can be a pretty stressful and overwhelming experience, so it’s easy to forget the little details that make a wedding amazing as you focus on the big stuff like choosing the venue and ensuring that all of the right people are invited. However, it’s those little details that really elevate your wedding and make your special day truly special.

With that in mind, here are some of the wedding day details you might want to include if you want to organise a day that no one will ever forget:

  1. Personalise your invites

Get your guests in the mood for an amazing wedding day by sending out invitations that are not mass-produced, but which have been created just for you, whether by a great local artist or your own fair hand. As well as personalising their style to meet your own taste, make an effort to also personalise each invite to the person who will be receiving it and your guests will be blown away. This kind of attention to detail is a real indicator that the big day is going to be something special, not only for the bride and groom but for all of their guests too. Why not use ure engagement shoot to create a unique photo for the stationary?

  1. Dress them differently

Traditionally, all of your bridesmaids and groomsmen would be dressed exactly the same, but that’s not much fun. If you want your wedding to be next level, shake things up and let your bridesmaids and groomsmen dress in different colours and styles to match their own unique personalities. Not only will it shark things up, but the contrast will look amazing in your wedding photos too. You can of course keep to a general theme, but individuality is great!

  1. Make an entrance

A lot of brides make the mistake of focusing on that moment when they reach the altar and see the man they love for the last time as an unmarried couple, but actually, all eyes will be on the bride from the second she enters the church/venue doors. That’s why it’s a good idea to focus on the details of the entrance. Whether you set up a floral arch around the door or a unique piece of music to signal your arrival, doing something to mark your entrance will take your wedding day to the next level and ensure it’s a moment that no one ever forgets. Unless you don’t like attention, in that case, just slip in through the side door.

  1. Create signature cocktails

wedding receptions would be nothing without a cheeky drink or two, but anyone can throw together a pitcher of Bucks Fizz or open a bottle of pink prosecco. If you want to take your wedding to the next level, why not come up with your own signature bride and groom’s cocktails. Have the catering staff work with you to create a drink or two that encompasses your style and taste and serve that instead of the usual wedding drink staples and not only will you impress youtube guests, but you may also save money too.

  1. Hire a photo booth

We all know how important it is to hire a professional wedding photographer who can document every aspect of the day is beautiful, brilliant detail, but weddings aren’t just about the big stuff, which is why you may also want to consider photo booth hire for your big day, Having a photo booth at your reception is a great way to capture those small, candid moments and allow your guests to have a bit more fun throughout the evening. Those candid shots will add an element of surprise to your photo album when placed amongst the pro shots so you get the whole picture.

  1. Provide a lounge area

(And this isn’t just for the photographer’s break!) Weddings are a lot of fun, but what with all of the eating, drinking and dancing, it can get pretty retiring for your guests, so why not be the legendary couple that realises this to be true and thus provides your guests with a place to take a load off. Whether you set up a couch area by the bar or a stack of hay bales in your outdoor venue, providing a place where your guests can sit down, chill out and have a rest before they get back to the dancefloor will ensure that your wedding goes down as one of the best. Why not go one step further and set up a hot drink and cookie station!

  1. Choose a unique form of transport

Instead of the traditional flash car to send you off on your honeymoon, why not go for something that reflects your personality more accurately instead? From VW camper vans to horse-drawn carriages or even tractors if you’re the farm-y type there are numerous ways that you can ride off into the sunset, so why do the expected?
